Yaya Sanogo to join Ajax on loan?

Arsenal striker Yaya Sanogo is reportedly on the verge of joining Ajax on loan.

The 22-year-old has struggled to make an impact for the Gunners, playing 19 times in all competitions.

The Frenchman moved to Crystal Palace on loan for the second half of last season, scoring once in his 11 appearances for the Eagles.

According to De Telegraaf, Ajax assistant boss and former Arsenal striker Dennis Bergkamp will work closely with Sanogo during his time with the Dutch side.

Sanogo has scored one goal for Arsenal since joining from Auxerre in July 2013.
