Arsenal have completed the signing of Viktor Gyokeres during the summer transfer window. The Gunners have reached an agreement with Sporting Lisbon for the Swedish striker. With his arrival, here is the updated list of the 10 most expensive signings in the club’s history.

Sought after across Europe, Viktor Gyokeres is set to join Arsenal. The Gunners have finalised a deal with Sporting Lisbon to bring in the Swedish international this summer. According to Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal will pay €73.5m including bonuses (around £62.5m) for the 27-year-old centre-forward. Factoring in his move to the Emirates Stadium, here is the updated ranking of Arsenal’s 10 biggest transfers.

10. Gabriel Jesus – £5m

The Brazilian striker joined Arsenal in the summer of 2022 for £44.4m from Manchester City. Gabriel Jesus is currently under contract until June 2027.

9. Alexandre Lacazette – £46.5m

Now playing in Saudi Arabia, the former Lyon forward signed for Arsenal for £45.1m during the 2017 summer window. Lacazette scored 71 goals in 206 appearances for the club.
