West Ham United believe they are in pole position to sign Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette this summer, according to a report.
The 30-year-old has less than four months remaining on his contract at the Emirates Stadium and he is now free to negotiate pre-contract agreements with foreign clubs.
Barcelona, Juventus and Lacazette's former club Lyon have all been linked with the Frenchman, but TEAMtalk reports that the Hammers also hold an interest.
The report adds that West Ham are preparing a contract offer to sign Lacazette this summer and they are confident that they can persuade the striker to move to the London Stadium.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has hinted that Lacazette could extend his stay at the Emirates, but the Frenchman's long-term future at the club remains uncertain.
Lacazette has made 197 appearances for the Gunners across all competitions, scoring 71 goals and providing 36 assists.
