Arsene Wenger: No deal agreed for Yann M'Vila

Wenger denies M'Vila deal

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that the club have not agreed a deal with Rennes for midfielder Yann M'Vila.

The 21-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to the Emirates in the last month, but the French boss has insisted that the Gunners are not close to completing any transfer deals.

"It's not true a deal is done for M'Vila," said Wenger. "We have not been in touch with anybody and we are not near to any deals for anybody."

Despite Wenger claiming that the North London outfit are quiet on the transfer front, the 62-year-old has already acquired German striker Lukas Podolski.
