Robin van Persie to join Dirk Kuyt in Turkey?

Fenerbahce forward Dirk Kuyt has claimed that Arsenal striker Robin van Persie could join him in Turkey.

Van Persie's future remains unclear with the Dutchman's contract set to expire next summer, and Kuyt has revealed that the pair have discussed Turkey as a playing destination.

"[Van Persie] told me that he wants to play for Fenerbahce one day. But at the moment there is nothing of the sort. He only shared the feelings he had inside," he told Milliyet Spor.

Kuyt joined Fenerbahce from Liverpool this summer.
