Arsenal striker Robin van Persie has not decided to sign a new contract with the club, despite suggestions that he was ready to stay.

It had been speculated that the 28-year-old could yet remain with the club after previously admitting a desire to leave, but that no longer appears the case.

According to The Sun, the Dutchman wants a transfer pushed through as soon as possible, with Manchester City leading the race.
