Tottenham Hotspur could reportedly move for Brentford striker Ivan Toney this summer.
The 25-year-old has been in excellent form for the Bees during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring 29 times and contributing 10 assists in 43 Championship appearances.
Brentford will seemingly face a fight to keep hold of the forward even if they are promoted to the Premier League, with a number of top-flight clubs thought to be interested in his services.
According to Football Insider, Spurs have now joined the hunt for Toney, and they want to sign a new striker this summer regardless of whether Harry Kane leaves the club.
Toney, who has a contract with his current team until June 2025, failed to make the grade at Newcastle United earlier in his career but scored 49 goals in 94 games for Peterborough United before arriving at the Brentford Community Stadium.
West Ham United and Arsenal have previously been linked with the former Northampton Town youngster.
