Report: Lille want Gervinho return

Reports have suggested that Lille are plotting a loan move for Arsenal forward Gervinho.

The 25-year-old was a big part of Les Dogues' double-winning team of 2011, but has failed to establish himself as a first-team regular since leaving for North London two years ago.

According to talkSPORT, Rudi Garcia is keen to bring the Ivorian back on a short-term basis, but face competition from Galatasaray, who are keen on a permanent transfer.

It is understood that Arsene Wenger may be willing to let him leave the club after a return of just nine goals from 31 starts in the Premier League.
