Arsenal planning £20m move for Wayne Rooney?

Swansea City captain Ashley Williams is reportedly keen on a move to Arsenal this summer.

The defender was linked with a transfer away from the club for the majority of last season with the Gunners said to be in competition with Liverpool for Williams's signature.

However, the Welshman has his heart set on a move to the Emirates Stadium, according to The Telegraph.

Swansea value the centre-back at around £10m, but the Gunners are believed to be willing to pay no more than £8m for the 28-year-old.

Swans chairman Huw Jenkins recently denied that there has been any contact about the player's availability.
