Report: Arsenal want Lucas Silva

Arsenal are reportedly preparing a January move for Cruzeiro midfielder Lucas Silva.

The 21-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid, while Chelsea are also said to be interested in the talented playmaker.

However, according to The Sun, Arsenal are confident of stealing a march on their rivals by meeting the youngster's £10m buy-out clause in January.

Silva, who has been with Cruzeiro since 2007, has just won a Brazilian title with his club.
