Report: Arsenal step up Riechedly Bazoer interest

Arsenal have reportedly stepped up their interest in Ajax midfielder Riechedly Bazoer.

The 19-year-old, who is now a full Netherlands international, is believed to be a transfer target for a number of European clubs, including Chelsea and Barcelona.

However, according to The Mirror, Arsenal are hoping to beat their rivals to the punch in the summer transfer window as they put together a financial package.

It is understood that Bazoer has been scouted extensively throughout the 2015-16 campaign, where he has made 33 appearances in all competitions.

Bazaar represented PSV Eindhoven between 2006 and 2012, before making the move to Ajax in 2012.
