Arsenal have reportedly increased their interest in Lyon captain Maxime Gonalons.
The Gunners have sent scouts to watch the 24-year-old midfielder a number of times this season and could now make a bid in the summer.
The Ligue 1 club value the French international at around £15m, according to The Mirror.
Gonalons revealed his admiration for the Premier League back in February by claiming that England's top flight was "awesome".
