Unai Emery reportedly wants to offload several first-team players this summer, including Mesut Ozil and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, as he does not believe they are good enough.

Arsenal are reportedly eager to offload Mesut Ozil and Henrikh Mkhitaryan as part of a big overhaul of their squad during the summer transfer window.

The Gunners have all but missed out on a place in the top four of the Premier League in Unai Emery's first season in charge, but they are still on course to reach the final of the Europa League.

According to The Sun, Emery believes several of the players he inherited from Arsene Wenger last year are not good enough and he wants to replace as many duds as possible.

Among those that could be on their way out of the Emirates Stadium are attacking midfielders Ozil and Mkhitaryan - two of Arsenal's highest-earning players - but the North London outfit need to find a team willing to buy the duo.

Should Arsenal miss out on a place in the Champions League, Emery will need to generate most of his transfer funds through player sales.

Carl Jenkinson, Shkodran Mustafi and Mohamed Elneny are also allegedly deemed surplus to requirements by the Spaniard.
