Arsenal defender Nacho Monreal has backed the club to be active in the transfer market this summer.
Gunners manager Arsene Wenger has remained tight-lipped over plans to expand his squad in the coming months.
Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin and Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling are among a handful of players who have been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium.
While he expects Arsenal to challenge for the Premier League title next season regardless of whether they sign new players, Monreal is expecting some business to be done during the transfer window.
"I imagine the club will sign new players, but at the moment we are making a good group and it will help us for the next season," he told Arsenal's official website. "If everyone gives 100% next season, we will have opportunities to win the Premier League. Obviously it will be difficult because there are so many good teams in the league but we will fight for it."
Monreal scored one goal in 39 appearances for Arsenal during the 2014-15 campaign.
