Juventus 'launch official bid for Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez'

Juventus 'make official bid for Sanchez'

Juventus have made an official bid for Arsenal attacker Alexis Sanchez, according to reports.

The Italian champions have previously been linked with a move for the Chile international, reportedly making him their number one transfer target this summer.

It is understood that their interest in the 27-year-old has increased since striker Alvaro Morata returned to Real Madrid, and Calcio Mercato claims that they have now made a formal bid.

The report suggests that Juve's opening offer is €30m (£25.6m) plus bonuses, although Arsenal's asking price is thought to be significantly higher than that.

Sanchez, who scored 17 goals in 41 appearances for the Gunners last season, is contracted to the club until 2018.
