Galatasaray 'in talks to sign Mohamed Elneny on loan from Arsenal'

Galatasaray are reportedly in talks to sign Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny on a season-long loan deal as the Turkish champions look to replace Fernandao.

Galatasaray are in talks to sign Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny on loan, according to a report.

The Turkish champions sold Fernandao to Sevilla earlier this summer and are understood to see Elneny as the perfect replacement.

According to Turkish-Football, talks have taken place between Galatasaray official Sukru Hanedar and Arsenal representatives in London this week.

Arsenal are happy to let the Egyptian depart, with Unai Emery making it clear that the 27-year-old does not feature in his plans this season.

Elneny was left out against Newcastle United last week and made just five starts in the Premier League last season.
