Chelsea are reportedly ready to join the race to sign Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser during the summer transfer window.

Chelsea have reportedly identified Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser as a potential summer transfer target.

Fraser has enjoyed an excellent campaign at the Vitality Stadium, with seven goals and 13 assists coming from 36 outings in the Premier League.

However, Fraser has just over a year remaining on his contract, and it appears likely that the Scotland international will not pen fresh terms with the south coast outfit.

Arsenal have been linked with a move for the 25-year-old, and according to The Mirror, Chelsea are ready to rival their London rivals in the race to sign the wideman.

The Blues have already added Borussia Dortmund's Christian Pulisic to their squad ahead of the next campaign, but doubts remain over the futures of Eden Hazard and Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Chelsea may also need to boost the number of homegrown players that they have in their first-team squad.
