Chelsea's Petr Cech 'to have Arsenal medical next week ahead of move'

Petr Cech will reportedly undergo a medical with Arsenal next week before finalising a move from Chelsea.

The two Premier League rivals are believed to have agreed a £10.9m fee for the transfer of the Czech shot-stopper.

The 33-year-old spent 11 years at Stamford Bridge, but the player is seeking a new club after becoming second fiddle to Thibaut Courtois, who returned to Chelsea last summer following three loan spells at Atletico Madrid.

According to Sky Sports News, a medical for Cech has been pencilled in for next week when his move to the Emirates is expected to be finalised.

Personal terms have reportedly already been agreed.
