Petr Cech confirms a deal is yet to be agreed amid Arsenal interest

Cech denies Arsenal deal is complete

Petr Cech has denied that a deal is already in place for him to join Arsenal from Chelsea.

The Czech shot-stopper is widely expected to move across London to the Emirates, with some reports claiming that an £11m deal has been agreed.

However, the player himself took to Twitter to retweet a message from his management company Sports PR Company, which read: "No transfer deal has been done yet for @PetrCech - as soon as any news @PetrCech will confirm."

The 33-year-old has spent 11 years at Stamford Bridge, but he had limited minutes on the pitch last season due to the return of Thibaut Courtois, who took the number one spot at Chelsea following three loan spells at Atletico Madrid.
