Lucas Biglia back on Arsenal radar

Arsenal are reportedly monitoring the progress of Argentina international Lucas Biglia and will consider making an offer for the midfielder this month.

The Anderlecht captain has reportedly failed to show up on schedule for the club's training camp in Turkey in a bid to force through a January transfer.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is keeping tabs on the situation with a view to a £8m bid, according to The Independent.

Biglia is a versatile holding midfielder and would be eligible to play for the club in the Champions League this season despite turning out for the Belgian champions in the group stages.
