Arsenal 'to bid £46m for Karim Benzema'

Arsenal are reportedly preparing a bid for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema.

The 27-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to the Gunners this summer, despite the Frenchman's agent ruling out a potential transfer.

However, according to AS, the Gunners have made £46m available to spend if the chance to sign the forward arises.

Benzema scored 22 goals for Madrid last season.
