Arsenal welcome Vasco da Gama teenager Indio to train with the club this week to take a closer look at the Brazilian midfielder.

Arsenal will welcome highly-rated midfielder Indio to train in North London this week after being impressed by his performances for Vasco da Gama this season.

The teenager will spend the next few days training with the Gunners and has admitted that he dreams of a move to European football.

He told Globo Esporte: "I'm anxious for this new stage in my life.

"I'll spend a week at Arsenal. It will be cool, I hope I enjoy it.

"Of course I have the dream of playing for a European club, but everything has its right time. It will be a good experience. I want to learn."

The Brazilian starlet is not expected to sign for Arsenal and is training with the club merely to gain experience at this stage.
