Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur join Dani Alves race?

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly ready to join the race to sign Dani Alves, who is available on a free transfer.

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly identified Dani Alves as a potential summer signing.

The right-back will not be short of offers ahead of the new season, having been released by Paris Saint-Germain at the end of his contract.

However, the Brazil international has previously expressed a desire to play in the Premier League, which has led to Manchester City being linked with the 36-year-old.

According to reports in Spain, Arsenal and Spurs are also interested in the veteran as they assess their options on the right-hand side of their backlines.

While Alves would likely demand a big wage packet, the Gunners may be tempted to make an approach as they look to make do with limited transfer funds.

Meanwhile, Spurs may find themselves requiring a replacement for Kieran Trippier, who continues to be linked with a move away from the Champions League runners-up.
