Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Arsenal could line up for Sunday's Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Arsenal attacker Reiss Nelson could be given the green light to return for Sunday's Premier League finale against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Emirates.

The 23-year-old - who is out of contract this summer - missed last week's season-defining 1-0 loss to Nottingham Forest through illness, as Mikel Arteta's men ceded the title with a whimper.

However, Nelson should recover from his bug in time for what may be his final appearance for his boyhood club, but Leandro Trossard and Bukayo Saka are fresh doubts due to unspecified problems.

Takehiro Tomiyasu (knee), Mohamed Elneny (knee), Oleksandr Zinchenko (calf), William Saliba (back) and Gabriel Martinelli (thigh) are also confined to the treatment room, and Arteta may offer minutes to some of his fringe players with second place now assured.

Nelson could be one of those in line for a start if Saka is not passed fit, and the same can potentially be said for the out-of-favour Emile Smith Rowe on the left flank ahead of Trossard.

Gabriel Jesus ought to continue through the middle in any case, unless Eddie Nketiah can force his way back in, while Martin Odegaard will likely lead the team out as captain for the final time this season.

Amid rumours of an imminent move to Bayer Leverkusen, Granit Xhaka is surely a nailed-on starter, while Jorginho might get the nod over Thomas Partey to complete the midfield trident.

After his doomed full-back experiment last weekend, Arteta should recall Kieran Tierney to an otherwise unchanged rearguard of Jakub Kiwior, Gabriel Magalhaes, Ben White and Aaron Ramsdale.

Arsenal possible starting lineup: Ramsdale; White, Kiwior, Gabriel, Tierney; Odegaard, Xhaka, Jorginho; Nelson, Jesus, Smith Rowe
