Preview: Liverpool vs. Arsenal

Sports Mole previews the Premier League match at Anfield between Liverpool and Arsenal.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers will be without striker Mario Balotelli for the visit of Arsenal to Anfield on Sunday afternoon.

The Italian forward has been banned for one game, as well as being fined £25,000, for an anti-Semitic post on Instagram, while the Reds will also be missing defender Glen Johnson.

Dejan Lovren is a doubt, but Alberto Moreno could return if Rodgers decides to revert to a back-four after selecting an offensive formation for his side's 3-1 win at Bournemouth in the League Cup.

The success at Dean Court came as a boost for a club who have registered just seven points from their last six Premier League fixtures.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that winger Theo Walcott will undergo a fitness test on a groin injury to determine whether he can take a place on the bench.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will also be assessed ahead of the game, but defender Calum Chambers is available after serving a one-match suspension.

The Gunners have won five of their last six fixtures, hitting the back of the net on 14 occasions, but concerns remain over a defence that is still missing Laurent Koscielny.
