Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has said that he is "very happy" with the development of defender Kieran Gibbs.
The 23-year-old, who scored against Swansea City in their 2-2 draw on Sunday, has made 14 starts in the Premier League for the Gunners this season.
"He scored a cracker," Wenger told Arsenal's official website. "When he plays with freedom and determination, you see the kind of performances we saw at Swansea.
"That's what you look for sometimes. He's getting stronger and stronger. I like when you feel that every year a player makes a step forward in their career.
"That's what's happening for him this season, so I'm very happy."
Arsenal are currently sixth in the Premier League table.
