Arsene Wenger remains "committed" to Arsenal future

Arsene Wenger hints that he will sign a new contract at Arsenal by insisting that he is "committed" to the club.

Arsene Wenger has reiterated that he plans to stay with Arsenal following questions regarding the Frenchman's future at the Emirates.

There have been widespread suggestions that Wenger will sign a new two-year contract at the Premier League outfit.

However, doubts over his future at the club emerged following the Gunners' 6-0 defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last weekend.

"My commitment is not questionable," Wenger said in Friday's press conference. "I have given my word and I always respect my word."

Arsenal, who are now fourth in the table, six points adrift of leaders Chelsea, will take on Manchester City on Saturday.
