Arsene Wenger hoping for more Aaron Ramsey goals

Arsene Wenger believes that it will be "important" for Arsenal if Aaron Ramsey can remain among the goals this season.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has claimed that it will be "important" for the team if Aaron Ramsey can remain among the goals this season.

The midfielder netted a late winner on Saturday as the Gunners started their Premier League campaign with a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace.

Wenger now hopes that the Welshman can continue to be a threat in the final third for the rest of the season.

"It's important for us that he can score goals," the Frenchman told the club's official website. "It's a continuity of what he has delivered last season and that's good for us."

Ramsey scored 16 goals in all competitions for Arsenal during the 2013-14 campaign.
