Arsenal's Thomas Vermaelen has said that he is "happy" Belgian teammate Eden Hazard decided to come to England this summer.
It has yet to be confirmed but Hazard is poised to be announced as a Chelsea player after tweeting that he was to join the Champions League winner.
"He will do well for Chelsea and I think he will be nice to watch for the spectators when they come to the stadium," said Vermaelen.
Hazard, 21, was also linked with a move to join Vermaelen at Arsenal but it appears he has chosen fellow Londoners Chelsea.
Vermaelen added: "He made his mind up and I think he will do well, I am convinced he will.
"I am happy he came to England, I think it is good for the national team as well."
Both Vermaelen and Hazard are expected to line up against England in this evening's friendly at Wembley. You can follow live coverage on the match right here with Sports Mole.
