Arsenal captain Robin van Persie will reportedly turn down a wage packet of £200,000 a week from Manchester City to stay at the Emirates.
Van Persie, the Premier League's top goalscorer, is understood to be keen on signing a new four-year deal with the Gunners which would see his weekly earnings rise from £80,000 to £130,000.
The Dutchman would also become the recipient of a huge £6m loyalty bonus if he opts to stay in North London, according to The Times.
The 28-year-old, who has scored 34 goals in 43 appearances across all competitions for the Gunners this season, is adamant that negotiations over a new deal will not take place until the summer.
Van Persie scored the opening goal in Arsenal's 3-0 win at Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday.
