Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez expects action-packed derby clash against Tottenham

Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez expects a "high-intensity" clash in Sunday's North London derby against Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates.

Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez expects plenty of "hustle and bustle" in Sunday's Premier League clash against North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

The Gunners will host Spurs at the Emirates with just three points separating the two clubs in the league table.

Arsenal currently have the edge in the standings as they sit second, but they face a Tottenham side that are yet to be beaten in the top flight this season.

Sanchez, who has featured in five derbies since his 2014 switch from Barcelona, believes that he and his teammates need to play 'wisely'.

"It's going to have everything," Sanchez told the club's official website. "It'll be a high-intensity match with plenty of hustle and bustle. I've played them a few times now and the first time I didn't know what to expect.

"They told me I had to start strong, and I remember I got taken out early on but then told myself that wouldn't happen again. We like to dominate possession and pass the ball around, but we'll have to be wise to the counter-attack."

Arsenal have only lost once in their 10 league games so far this season.
