Bacary Sagna thinks that Arsenal's emphatic victory over Tottenham will push them to finish above their North London rivals in the table.

Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna believes that Arsenal have the ability to push up the Premier League table and finish above arch rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

Arsene Wenger's side stunned their third-place opponents by coming back from a two-goal deficit to win 5-2 at the Emirates yesterday.

With 12 games left to play, Sagna, who scored in the weekend's North London derby, believes that the Gunners can turn around their season.

"Of course we can catch [Tottenham]," talkSPORT quotes Sagna as saying. "We just need to play game-by-game without thinking about what will happen at the end of the season.

"We still have time to come back. We have dropped points and now we have to stay professional and play like we did [against Spurs].

"We are not far, we have to keep playing and focus on every game until the end of the season and we will make it."

Arsenal face Liverpool at Anfield in their next Premier League clash this weekend.
