Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has set his sights on finishing third this year and challenged north London rivals Arsenal by saying "bring it on Arsene".

Following their 0-0 draw with Chelsea on Saturday, Spurs sit fourth and occupy the final Champions League qualifying place in the Premier League table, five points clear of the Blues.

Although Redknapp admits that it would still be an impressive feat for his team to finish where they are now, he has warned Arsene Wenger that Spurs will fight the Gunners all the way.

"It is tough this year. Manchester City, with the money they've spent, are a certainty and United too," said 65-year-old Redknapp.

"Arsenal have been there every year, Chelsea, and Liverpool, who you thought would get stronger, mean it was going to be even harder to make it this year.

"A month ago we were nailed on, so it would be a bigger blow if we don't make it. But I don't think third is out of reach, now. Bring it on, Arsene!"

Spurs have not finished above Arsenal since 1995.
