Ex-Arsenal striker Eduardo is in danger of having his house and car seized after a dispute with his former agent.
The Croatian international is being sued for £630,000 by Zdravko Mamic over an agreement that the 28-year-old signed in 2001.
That figure could reportedly rise to £900,000 with interest.
Mamic, who is also the executive vice-president of Eduardo's former club Dinamo Zagreb, claims that he is entitled to 20% of the player's earnings but has not been paid since the forward's 2007 move to the Gunners.
However, Brazil-born Eduardo has said that he did not understand Croatian when he signed the terms.
