Norwich defender Max Aarons is close to agreeing a new deal with the club amid interest from Chelsea and Arsenal.
The 18-year-old is poised to sign an extension at Carrow Road, Press Association Sport understands.
He only signed his first professional deal in the summer, until 2021, but an improved deal is on the table.
Premier League sides Arsenal and Chelsea have been tracking Aarons after his impressive impact this season.
He has only made nine appearances, scoring once, and has earned his first call-up to the England Under-19 squad.
The 18-year-old right-back has been with the Canaries since 2016 after joining from Luton.
He has impressed during the Canaries’ fine run of form in the Sky Bet Championship which has lifted them into play-off contention.
Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at Stoke ended an unbeaten run of seven games in all competitions.
Daniel Farke’s side are ninth in the table, a point behind the top six.
Aarons’ new deal comes after Jamal Lewis signed a new five-year contract at Carrow Road on Wednesday.
