Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle claims that his side have a "great relationship" with the elite clubs.

Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle has claimed that his side have a "great relationship" with the elite clubs.

Coyle's side are expected to make some loan signings for the coming season, an area in which Bolton have a history of success.

The Whites have played an integral role in the development of players such as Jack Wilshere and Daniel Sturridge in the past, with Coyle insisting that elite clubs hold his outfit in high regard.

"I'd suggest we've got a great relationship with all the elite clubs, and that's not just in this country," said the Scot. "Barcelona B are coming to play against us because of the relationship we have with Barcelona, and we have a very good relationship with Real Madrid.

"We know there are terrific players out there and that because of those relationships, those kind of clubs trust us with their players and know we'll do right by them.

"We're held in quite high regard because of how we work with the youngsters and improve them, so I don't think we'll ever be short of being able to entice them to the football club."

Bolton are believed to be mulling over signing a Chelsea player on loan as part of the Gary Cahill deal that was completed in January.
