Arsenal's Arsene Wenger still unsure when Santi Cazorla will return from injury

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says that he is still unsure about when Santi Cazorla will return to action following a month out with an Achilles injury.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted that he is still uncertain when Santi Cazorla will return to action from injury, but has guessed that it could be in two weeks' time.

The Spanish midfielder has been on the treatment table with an Achilles problem since October, and he is still yet to return to full-time training.

The 31-year-old, who has missed the Gunners' last eight games, admitted himself last week that he was unsure of the timing of his return.

Cazorla has already been ruled out of this weekend's home game against Bournemouth, but Wenger is hopeful that the midfielder will be back in action in around a fortnight.

"At the moment I have given up a little bit on [Cazorla returning this weekend]," Wenger told reporters. "I don't know how far he is. He is still not in full-time training.

"It is an inflammation at the back of his Achilles. My gut feeling is it will be short [term] - two weeks."

Meanwhile, Arsenal are preparing for tomorrow evening's Champions League group game against Paris Saint-Germain at the Emirates.
