Aiming to give Ange Postecoglou a baptism of fire in the Nottingham Forest hotseat, Arsenal welcome the Tricky Trees to the Emirates Stadium for Saturday's early Premier League kickoff.
The Gunners lost their perfect record for the 2025-26 season just before the international break, falling to a 1-0 defeat to champions Liverpool at Anfield courtesy of a sublime Dominik Szoboszlai free kick inside the final 10 minutes.
However, many of Mikel Arteta's men have excelled for their countries over the past few weeks, and they now welcome a Garibaldi side whom they have not lost to at home since the Highbury days in 1989.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Postecoglou's Forest.
William Saliba
Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: September 13 (vs. Forest)
William Saliba sprained his ankle in the warm-up to Arsenal's defeat to Liverpool, and despite trying to carry on, he had to call it quits with just five minutes on the clock.
Reports from France suggested that the centre-back faces between three and four weeks on the sidelines, although those claims are now known to be wide of the mark, as Saliba has trained with the team and is in contention to play this weekend.
Bukayo Saka
Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: September 21 (vs. Manchester City)
Bukayo Saka pulled his hamstring in the Gunners' 5-0 battering of Leeds United in August, and while the Forest visit will come too soon for him, a comeback against Manchester City on September 21 is not beyond the realm of possibility.
Kai Havertz
Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: November 22 (vs. Tottenham Hotspur)
Arsenal have not put a timeframe on Kai Havertz's recovery from a knee injury, but Arteta has admitted that the German will likely spend "many, many weeks" on the treatment table, so a comeback before the end of November is highly unlikely.
Gabriel Jesus
Status: Out
Type of injury: ACL
Possible return date: November 22 (vs. Tottenham)
Gabriel Jesus has stepped up his rehabilitation from an ACL problem with on-ball work on the training pitches, and there is a chance that the Brazilian will make his long-awaited return before Christmas.
Ben White
Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Knock
Possible return date: September 13 (vs. Forest)
Ben White has missed Arsenal's last two clashes against Leeds and Liverpool due to a knock, although there is hope that the right-back will be part of the squad on Saturday.
Christian Norgaard
Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: September 13 (vs. Forest)
Likewise, Christian Norgaard might shake off a muscular concern in time for the lunchtime kickoff, although the Dane will certainly not be named in the starting lineup.
