Arsenal team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Bournemouth

Arsenal injury, suspension list vs. Bournemouth

Arsenal will be looking to extend their 100% record in the Premier League to three matches when they face Bournemouth on Saturday evening.

The Gunners have enjoyed a strong start to the new campaign, scoring a total of six goals in victories over Crystal Palace and Leicester City.

However, at a time when the North London outfit sit in second spot in the standings, they face opponents in Bournemouth who have already recorded a win at the Vitality Stadium this season.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their contest with the Cherries on the South Coast.

Fabio Vieira

Status: Minor doubt Type of injury: Foot Possible return date: August 20 (vs. Bournemouth)

New signing Fabio Vieira has been nursing a foot injury that he picked up while representing Portugal Under-21s, resulting in him missing the opening two Premier League fixtures. However, having spent a number of days in training since recovering from the issue, the playmaker could feature among the replacements at the weekend.

Reiss Nelson

Status: Out Type of injury: Muscle Possible return date: Unknown

At a time when he would have wanted a decision made regarding his future, Reiss Nelson suffered a significant muscle injury. Reports have indicated that he may be sidelined for at least a couple of months, subsequently ruling him out of this contest.
