Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger: 'We'll give it 100% to retain FA Cup'

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger insists that his team will give "100%" to win the FA Cup for a third successive year.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has insisted that his team will give "100%" to retain the FA Cup.

The North London outfit have won the trophy twice on the trot and a record 12 times in total.

While the Gunners have a realistic chance of winning the Premier League this season as they are currently in top spot of the table with a two-point lead, Wenger has claimed that his club are taking the FA Cup seriously.

"Of course there is extra pressure because we won the competition last season," Wenger said in Friday's press conference. "Being the holders, we want to stay in the competition and do it again if possible.

"I don't see why the FA Cup should be ostracised because of the Premier League. We want to go for the competition and go for it 100%."

Arsenal will take on Sunderland at the Emirates this Saturday in the third round of the competition.
