Laurent Koscielny says that he is still very disappointed for teammate Bacary Sagna as he has to miss Euro 2012 through injury.

France defender Laurent Koscielny has admitted that he is gutted for Arsenal teammate Bacary Sagna, who is missing Euro 2012 through injury.

Koscielny has starred alongside Sagna for Arsenal this campaign and was hoping to do the same in a successful French team in Poland and Ukraine.

Full-back Sagna was ruled out of the European Championship after breaking his leg in the 3-3 draw with Norwich City in May.

Bac is a very nice guy off the pitch and he has been very professional because it is the second time he has been injured like this," Koscielny told Arsenal Player.

"I think it is really hard for him because he trained hard to come back and help the team. So for him not to be in the French squad is disappointing.

"But I know Bac, he will come back stronger and next season he will be very important for us."

Kosciely faces a fight to make the starting lineup for France's Euro 2012 opener against England on June 11.
