Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says that he is undecided whether or not Theo Walcott will start Tuesday's Champions League encounter with Marseille.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has said that he is undecided whether or not Theo Walcott will start Tuesday's Champions League encounter with Marseille.

The England international forward was handed a 20-minute cameo by Wenger for the 2-0 victory over Southampton on Saturday - his first appearance in over two months following an abdominal injury.

However, the 64-year-old coach claims he has not yet made his mind up over affording Walcott a starting berth in tomorrow's clash.

Speaking to reporters at a press conference, the Frenchman said: "I haven't decided on Theo but it's fantastic to have him back."

Wenger went on to stress the need for caution ahead of the visit of Marseille - who sit bottom of Group F with zero point - by claiming that teams with nothing to lose can often pose danger.

"They have nothing to lose and that makes the French teams dangerous. They have quality," he added.

Victory over the French outfit could see the North London club secure their passage to the last-16 stage of the competition for an 11th successive season if Borussia Dortmund fail to beat second-placed Napoli at Signal Iduna Park.

Tuesday's match is scheduled to kick off at 7:45 pm.
