Thierry Henry, Robert Pires train with Arsenal

Thierry Henry and Robert Pires train with Arsenal, but manager Arsene Wenger rules out either returning to the club.

Former Arsenal players Thierry Henry and Robert Pires trained with the current squad ahead of their Champions League clash with Marseille tomorrow night.

The French duo won a host of trophies during their time with the North Londoners, including two Premier League titles apiece.

However, despite their participation during today's session, manager Arsene Wenger ruled out either returning to the club in a playing capacity.

"They just want to enjoy themselves, to practise. They [usually] train separately," he told reporters.

Henry left Arsenal in 2007, only to return for a brief loan stint last year, while Pires departed in 2006.
