Lionel Messi: 'More to come from Argentina'

Argentina forward Lionel Messi declares that Argentina "still want more", despite beating Nigeria to make it three wins from three in Group F.

Lionel Messi has declared that there is still more to come from Argentina at the World Cup, despite seeing his side take maximum points in Group F.

The 25-year-old scored twice against Nigeria on Wednesday afternoon as La Albiceleste rounded off their group stage campaign with a third straight win, courtesy of a 3-2 triumph over Nigeria.

"We were more threatening [against Nigeria], found the spaces to exploit and had more chances to score," Messi is quoted as saying by BT Sport. "But we still want more. The good thing is we improved and it's a wonderful experience with the people here. We're all still chasing a shared dream."

Argentina, who also defeated Bosnia-Herzegovina and Iran in Group F, will face Switzerland in the last 16 on Tuesday.
