Alanyaspor will look to record a third successive win in Super Lig when they play host to Kasimpasa on Thursday evening.

While the home side currently occupy eighth position in the standings, the visitors are down in 14th spot after back-to-back defeats.

The results in Turkey's top flight can be difficult to predict at the best of times, but Alanyaspor have taken things to a whole new level this season.

The nine goals which they have conceded all came in two matches, a 4-1 home defeat to Altay being followed by a 5-0 mauling at Hatayspor.

However, 1-0 victories have since been recorded against Giresunspor and Galatasaray, moving the club back into the top half of the table.

Bulent Korkmaz requires far more in the final third with his team having just four goals to their name, none of this squad contributing more than one strike.

Nevertheless, a home fixture against out-of-form opponents gives Alanyaspor an opportunity to make more headway up the standings before the trip to second-placed Trabzonspor.

Fresh off narrowly avoiding relegation last season, Kasimpasa had made a promising start to the season with five points being collected from their opening triple-header.

Defeats against Kayserispor and Trabzonspor have since changed the mood at the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadium, and the club now just two points above the drop zone.

The positives will be taken from their efforts in the defensive third, particularly with fixtures having already been played against Galatasaray and Trabzonspor.

Nevertheless, with some high-profile additions having been made during the summer, Senol Can will be expected to move the team into the top 10 over the coming weeks.

Barring any late fitness issues, Korkmaz may opt against tinkering with the Alanyaspor side which prevailed at Galatasaray on Sunday.

However, Daniel Candeias came off the substitutes bench to net the decisive goal, leaving the Portuguese as a potential alternative to Davidson.

Kasimpasa have a number of injury issues with Nicolai Jorgensen unlikely to be passed fit to start this contest.

Valentin Eysseric will hope to earn a recall in a creative role, while Feyzi Yildirim is again in line to feature at right-back.

Florent Hadergjonaj, Kevin Varga and Nabil Dirar all remain on the sidelines.
