Sulejmani heading for Ajax exit

Ajax forward Miralem Sulejmani has revealed that he is contemplating a move away from the Dutch club.

The 23-year-old's situation is being monitored by Valencia, Bayer Leverkusen and West Ham United after the player admitted that a move would be considered.

The Serbian's injury problems have prevented him from securing a first-team place at the Amsterdam Arena and, with his contract due to expire next summer, the club are willing to sell after he refused to take a pay cut.

Sulejmani told Voetbal International: "If there really comes a club I will carefully examine that deal.

"The next step in my career must be correctly and carefully chosen.

"It's my wish to play in one of the strongest leagues in Europe."

Ajax paid a club-record fee for the former Heerenveen player in 2008.
