Christian Eriksen confirms Borussia Dortmund talks

Ajax midfielder Christian Eriksen has revealed that discussions have taken place between his club and Borussia Dortmund regarding a transfer to the Bundesliga outfit.

The Danish international has been linked with a host of teams over the last few months, including Manchester United, Liverpool and AC Milan.

However, the 21-year-old has now indicated that Dortmund are the favourites to capture his services.

"I know there has been contact between the two clubs and both Ajax and Dortmund have already talked to my agent," he told De Telegraaf.

It is believed that Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp has identified Eriksen as a replacement for Mario Gotze, who will join Bayern Munich this summer.
