Ajax declare interest in Fulham target

Ajax sporting director Marc Overmars has revealed that FC Twente winger Nacer Chadli is on the club's radar.

The 24-year-old scored 11 goals in 12 starts in the Eredivisie this season and is expected to leave De Grolsch Veste in the summer.

Fulham are thought to be among the clubs chasing the Belgian international, but Overmars has now declared Ajax's interest.

"We are interested, that's right," Overmars told De Telegraaf. "Chadli would fit in well with us.

Chadli joined Twente from sixth-tier side AGOVV Apeldoorn three years ago.
