AFC Wimbledon edge out 10-man Wycombe Wanderers

AFC Wimbledon found the net for the sixth consecutive game as they recorded a 1-0 win over 10-man Wycombe Wanderers at Kingsmeadow.

The victory came courtesy of Luke Moore's second goal of the season, which arrived moments after Stuart Lewis had been sent off for serious foul play.

Lewis was given his marching orders by referee Gavin Ward on 34 minutes following a nasty tackle on George Porter.

Wimbledon broke the deadlock three minutes later as Callum Kennedy's cross was headed into the corner of the net by the in-form Moore.

The hosts failed to make the most of their numerical advantage during the second half, which was a scrappy and even affair.

Nevertheless, Dons keeper Ross Warner was rarely called into action as Neal Ardley's men held on for their first win of the season.
