Brown leaves Wimbledon

AFC Wimbledon boss Terry Brown has been sacked by the club.

Brown, who has been at the club for five years, led them from the Isthmian League to the Football League, but he has departed along with assistant Stuart Cash.

Brown joined the Dons in 2007, securing three promotions in four seasons, but he has lost his last three games in charge.

Simon Bassey has been appointed as caretaker manager.
